Here are some of the wonderful communties people in northwest Montana call home.
- Woods Bay - Located 5 miles south of Bigfork on the east shore of Flathead Lake. Woods Bay offers lodging, bars, restaurants and the taproom for Flathead Lake Brewing Company.
- Swan Lake - A 15 minute drive from Bigfork, this 7 mile long lake begins in the small town of Swan Lake, which has a national forest campground, trading post and a bar.
- Swan Valley - Sometimes nothing beats a drive down highway 83 through the Swan Valley. Some of the tallest trees in the state run alongside the road and at the base of the stunning Swan Mountain range. The communities of Salmon Prairie, Condon and Seeley Lake are nestled within this valley. Completely disconnect from everyday life with limited cell phone service in some areas of this valley.
- Polson - Located on the south shore of Flathead Lake and on the Flathead Indian Reservation, Polson is the largest town on Flathead Lake and offers all ammenities.
- Lakeside & Somers - Two communities on the west shore of Flathead Lake offer amazing sunrises, views of the Mission Mountains and all amenities. Above Lakeside you'll find Blacktail Mountain, a ski mountain offering 1400' feet of vertical elevation.
- Columbia Falls - At the mouth of the canyon leading into Glacier National Park, you'll find the growing town of Columbia Falls. Wonderful antique shopping and craft beers are just some or the great things you will find here.
- Kalispell - The hub of the Flathead Valley, Kalispell is a thriving city. The largest airport in the area, Glacier Park International, is located here.
- Whitefish - On the north side of the valley, this former timber community is now a town full of art, fine dining and wonderful people. Whitefish is also home to Whitefish Mountain Resort, a world class ski resort on over 3000 acres and known for its epic tree skiing.
